Fiberglass pools are one of the most popular choices for homeowners.  Fiberglass pools are faster to install than concrete pools.  They are available in various styles and shapes. They are easier to clean and maintain.

  1. Clean out debris and leaves regularly.  Debris will upset your chemical balance quickly.
  2. Brush the walls with a soft bristles – hard bristles will scratch your pool’s surface.
  3. Run your pool filter 6-8 hours a day. Run it especially when swimming, that’s when dirt and debris is stirred up and can be filtered.
  4. Keep a proper chemical balance – test water and add chemicals if needed.

This may sound like a lot to do to enjoy your fiberglass pool but it is much simpler to maintain than a concrete pool.  Keep a regular cleaning schedule and your pool will stay looking its best.
